Lily, you predictable perv. I knew you’d open this email faster if I tempted you with a glimpse of JT's “PP”. Well, put your pants back on and grab some bubbly because I have much better news to share.
I GOT A JOB!
As of tomorrow, I’ll be the new executive assistant at Lorena Lefray Designs. I am SO excited, but there’s one itty bitty problem I won’t be Lorena’s assistant. I’ll be working for her older brother, Julian.
I know what you're thinking- "But Jo, what’s the problem?"
Google him. Now. He’s the man in the fitted navy suit whose face reminds you that there’s hope yet for this cruel, ugly world. Keep scrolling…Do you see those dimples? Yup. That’s the Julian Lefray I will be reporting to tomorrow morning.
Lord, help us all...
XO,
Jo

Josephine "Jo" Keller recently graduated from a small fashion school in Texas. She also has her own blog, "WhatJoWore" that has been pretty successful. As much as she loves her family, she's ready to make her dreams come true and the only way to do that is to go where the fashion lives. Immediately, she packed her bags and heads to New York City. She applies and gets the job to work as an assistant to the famous Lorena Lefray. Later at a gala she attends she learns that the job will actually be with Lorena's brother, Julian. He's going to be running the business for Lorena for a little while. There's only one problem with that. He's H.O.T.! Keeping her mind on work is going to be a little more challenging than she thought.
"Buff - check. Tan - check. Just a sprinkling of chest hair that made my mouth water - check."
Julian Lefray is a successful businessman who resides in Boston. Helping his sister for a while he is now living in New York. With both Jo and Julian new to the city, they quickly add friends to their status along with working together. Julian even helps her sometimes by taking pictures of her for her blog.
"Julian, less play-flirting, more snapping."
"Who said anything about play?"
We were entering into dangerous territory."
This is where I love having dual POVs. The flirting between these two is so good. It's a slow build to deeper feelings. They are friends, but more importantly they are boss and employee. Would crossing that line ever be worth it? Will Jo find love while chasing her dreams at the same time?
"The match was lit and the blaze that grew between us was spreading beyond our control."
This was a fantastic drama free romance. Personally, I love angst, but Grey wrote the story so well that it didn't need any drama. And I didn't even miss it. I couldn't help but to laugh out loud a few times at the banter between these two characters. Oh and that party the landlady threw. HA!HA!
My favorite thing about this book was Jo's determination to chase her dreams. Moving far from home, family and friends to a big city and not knowing anyone can be intimidating. I know I've done it. But she knew what she wanted and wasn't afraid to go after it. I love seeing strong sides to characters like this.
I also enjoyed the secondary, best friends characters, a Dean and Lily. I know they have their own book too. I'm sure there will be some drama since they are already described as oil and water. *rubs hands together* I can't wait to read it! So...if you enjoy a fun, funny, sexy, light read then grab this book and see if you too fall for The Allure of Julian Lefray.

The Allure of Julian Lefray edition by RS Grey Literature Fiction eBooks Reviews
After reading recently "Arrogant devil" by this author I wanted to give another one of her stories a try ) this time in audiobook version ) and even though I didn't loved it as much, I still had lots of fun ) this is the first book in a series, but each novel is concentrated on a different couple, so no worries about cliffhangers or anything like that ) first, let me tell you a bit more about the main couple in this first book )
Let's start with Josephine ) she moved to New York from Texas a few weeks ago and now she tries to make it in the fashion industry... she has a fashion blog, which she's still working on, but she's looking for a more permanent and reliable position... so she's over the moon when she secures a job in Lorena Lefray's company ) little does she know, the assistant position will be actually with Julian, Lorena's brother... he's in the city to help her little sister with her company while she's in rehab... even though there is instant chemistry between them, they both try to stay professional... mostly ;) the whole book takes place over the course of a few months, and during that time we can see how it becomes harder and harder for both of them to ignore the sparks... ) that's all I'm willing to share when it comes to the actual plot of the book, because I don't want to spoil you too many details ;) so instead let me jump into all my thought and feelings )
I gave this book 4 stars... it definitely had some 5-stars-worthy moments... hilarious ones, swoonworthy ones and even an emotional one or two... ;) but there were also moments when I rolled my eyes at something they said or did... or when I wanted to smack someone for being stupid... so all in all 4 stars rating is a good middle groung to all my feelings ) I am definitely in love with this author's writing style... her stories are always cute and very fast to read... this one was no exception ) I liked the main couple, although I think it's the secondary characters that stole the show a bit ) I'm talking about Jo's best friend Lily and Julian's friend, Dean ) they may or may not be the reason why I can't wait to read the second book in this series... with them as the main couple ;) but back to the topic of this review ;) I had a lot of fun reading this story, even though some little things annoyed me... but they were insignificant when you look at the big pictire... ) I can wholeheartedly recommend you guys this book if you are looking for a great written and cute contemporary romance )
1. I'm not interested in fashion. 2. I hate first person books. 3. I am rarely interested in books written for the the twenty-something crowd. (Unfortunately, I can barely remember my twenties!) However, this book pulled me in with the humorous adventures of a Texas girl determined to take on the NYC fashion world. For such a smart girl, she manages to get herself into some crazy situations. Her new boss, Julian Lefray, is an added complication she hadn't counted on. I laughed a lot while reading this book, especially near the end. I will admit that I did a lot of skimming through some of the sexier parts because I felt there was just a little too much of it for my taste. I'm sure that isn't the case with many readers. The plot is good, the characters are great, and there dialogue is witty. If you like fashion, hot sex, and a lot of humor in your reading, this book is for you.
Language (f-bombs) and sexual situations (Hot and often) may offend some readers
